Jurassic World Dominion is a 2022 American science fiction action film directed by Colin Trevorrow and co-written with Emily Carmichael. Based on a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, it is the sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) and the third and final film in the Jurassic World trilogy. It is also the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park series overall, concluding the plot of the original Jurassic Park trilogy. As with its predecessors, the film was produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, with Trevorrow and Jurassic Park (1993) director Steven Spielberg as executive producers. The film stars an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athia, BD Wong and Omar Sy. Dern, Goldblum and Neill will reprise their roles from the Jurassic Park trilogy, appearing together for the first time since the 1993 film.

The film takes place four years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, where dinosaurs now live alongside humans all over the world. It follows Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as they embark on a rescue mission, while Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler reunite with Ian Malcolm to uncover a conspiracy by genomics corporation Biosyn, once a rival of the defunct InGen.
The film was planned back in 2014 as part of the future Jurassic World trilogy. Filming began in February 2020, but was suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It resumed in July and ended four months later. Filming locations included Canada, England's Pinewood Studios and Malta. Unlike its two predecessors, Legendary Entertainment was not involved in the production of the film after its four-year partnership with Universal expired in 2019.
Jurassic World Dominion is distributed by Universal Pictures and premiered in Mexico City on May 23, 2022. In the United States, it was released in theaters on June 10, 2022, in IMAX, 4DX,RealD 3D, [12] and Dolby Cinema. It grossed over $942 million worldwide, becoming the third highest-grossing film of 2022. It received generally negative reviews from critics, who believed the franchise had run its course.
